Download JonDo for Linux

  1. Add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list. Replace DISTRO by the name of your distribution. At the moment lenny, squeeze, sid, intrepid, jaunty, karmic and lucid are supported.
    deb http://debian.anonymous-proxy-servers.net DISTRO main
  2. Download the key JonDos_GmbH.asc and add it to your apt keyring:
    sudo apt-key add JonDos_GmbH.asc
  3. Install JonDo
    sudo aptitude update && aptitude install jondo
  4. Update your menus
    update-menus
  5. You will find JonDo in the applications menu of your desktop in the group network or you can start it at command line with "jondo".

Linux install (Creates a new profile)

  1. Download the file profile.zip
  2. Shut down FireFox
  3. Unpack the file: unzip profile.zip -d target
  4. Go to the directory where you placed the files: cd target
  5. Run the script install_linux.sh from there: ./install_linux.sh
  6. Restart FireFox and enjoy your new security and anonimity
